The regulations require that most textile and wool products sold in the United States be labeled with the name and content of the fiber, the country of origin, and the identity of the manufacturer or distributor
16 CFR 1610 Combustion requirements for wear textiles Three levels of combustion performance are specified:

Level 1: Conventional flammability

Clothing and flat surface textiles: flame spread time equal to or greater than 3.5s.

Textiles with raised surface: flame spread time greater than 7s.

Other: When the flame combustion is so weak that it does not ignite or does not cause the bottom of the fabric to burn, in the time of 0s-7s rapid surface flash of the textile.

Level 2: Medium flammable

Textiles with raised surface: flame spread time at 4s-7s. Use caution when using clothing.

Level 3: Rapid and intense burning

Flat surface textiles: flame spread time less than 3.5s.

Textiles with a raised surface: the flame spread time is less than 4s, and the base cloth melts or ignites.

Such textiles are not suitable for making clothes.

16 CFR 1615&1616 Burning requirements for children’s pajamas Strict regulations have been made for the fire prevention of children’s pajamas, and all clothing or materials used as children’s pajamas must meet this specification. The sample is suspended on the test rack, the flame is ignited and burned at the bottom of the test sample for 3 seconds, and then the flame is removed. After the flame on the test sample is extinguished by itself, the length of the burned damaged part is measured. General requirements: 1, the average char of 5 samples does not exceed 7 inches; 2. No single sample is larger than 10 inches.
CPSIA US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act 1, children’s products coating lead content should not exceed 90ppm; The lead content of the base material of children’s products shall not exceed 100ppm;

2, children’s toys and child care products phthalate content should not exceed 1000ppm, which details are as follows: 8P (DEHP/DBP/BBP/ DINP/ DIBP/ DCHP/DPENP/ DHEXP) per P≤1000ppm on toys for children 12 years and under and nursing articles for children 3 years and under.
