| If you are a manufacturer or importer, you must "provide" the Children's Product Certificate to distributors and retailers. In addition, federal law requires you to provide a copy of the Children's Product Certificate to the CPSC and the Commissioner of Customs upon request. |
| The requirement for the CPC is "met" if the manufacturer or importer provides reasonable means for its distributors and retailers to obtain the certificate. You can provide actual copies of the certificate to distributors and retailers, or you can provide a dedicated website and the specific certificate on the invoice. |
