Basic requirements
Metal materials and products shall comply with the provisions of GB 4806.1.
2.1 Raw material requirements
(1)The metal substrates, metal coatings and welding materials used in metal materials and products should not cause harm to human health.
(2)Metal material and product manufacturers should control the substances used and residual in the process of metal surface treatment (such as pickling, oxidation, phosphating, polishing, anti-rust oiling, etc.) so that the amount of migration into food meets the requirements of GB4806.1.
(3)Metal substrates and metal coatings used on food contact surfaces should not use lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury, antimony, beryllium and lithium as alloying elements, and the content of impurity elements should meet the requirements of Table 1.

For uncoated aluminum and aluminum alloy materials and products, this indicator is 5mg/kg. Not applicable to tin-plated steel plate containers. | ||
