The categories in GB 18401 refer to the safety levels of clothing, which are divided into Class A, Class B, and Class C.

Class A: Infant and toddler textile products should meet the requirements of Class A. According to national regulations, textile products worn or used by infants and toddlers aged 36 months and under, such as diapers, underwear, bibs, pajamas, gloves, socks, hats, outerwear, bedding, etc., must meet the Class A standard. Infant and toddler textile products must be labeled with the words "Infant and Toddler Products" on the instruction manual.

Class B: Textile products in direct contact with the skin should meet at least the Class B standard. These textile products refer to those that, when worn and used, have most of their area in direct contact with the human skin, such as underwear, shirts, T - shirts, skirts, pants, socks, etc.

Class C: Textile products not in direct contact with the skin should meet at least the Class C standard, such as thick coats, overcoats, down jackets, thick trousers worn in winter, etc.
