EN 62115: Electric toys — Safety (The product scope covered by this standard includes all the electrical safety technical requirements and test methods for electric toys, ranging from small lamps powered by button batteries to large riding toys powered by lead-acid batteries. The main contents include: markings and instructions, input power, temperature rise and abnormal operation, electrical strength, mechanical strength, structure, wires, screws and components, creepage distances and electrical clearances, fire resistance, heat resistance, toxicity and similar hazards, etc.)

The EN62115 standard covers all electric toys and is also applicable to Electric Construction Sets, Electric Functional Toys, Experimental Sets, and Video Toys.
