Definition of Spurious Emissions: It refers to the radiation (i.e., remote radiation) at discrete frequencies other than the carrier frequency and the sidebands and adjacent channels caused by normal modulation and switching transients when modulated by a standard test signal. Spurious emissions can be divided into two types according to their sources: conducted type and radiated type.
Conducted Spurious Emissions: It refers to the level power of any discrete signal measured on a 50-ohm load at the antenna connector.
Radiated Spurious Emissions: Spurious disturbances caused by the enclosure, structure, and interconnection cables of the test equipment. The preferred test condition is carried out in an anechoic chamber or outdoors.
