| On October 27, 2017, the Commission issued the final phthalates regulation (16 CFR part 1307), which will take effect on April 25, 2018. It is unlawful for any person to offer the following products, manufacture and sell any of the following 8 phthalates containing concentrations greater than 0.1%: |
| Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), |
| Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), |
| Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), |
| Diisononyl phthalate (DINP), |
| Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), |
| Di-n-pentyl phthalate (DPENP), |
| Di-n-hexyl phthalate (DHEXP), |
| Dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP) |
