| Children's products (including components and materials) need to be declared for CHCCs under the following circumstances: |
| · If a CHCC is intentionally added (for a certain purpose) and its concentration exceeds the PQL (Practical Quantitation Limit) of that CHCC, it must be declared. |
| · If a CHCC is unintentionally added (as an impurity) and its concentration exceeds 100 ppm, it must be declared. |
| · If a manufacturer can provide reasonable and effective production control procedures and operation guidelines to minimize the concentration of impurities in product components, no notification is required. |
