Materials where 28 PAHs may exist: charcoal, crude oil, wood tar, tar (natural); drugs, dyes, plastics, rubbers, pesticides (anthropogenic); lubricants, release agents, capacitor electrolytes, mineral oils, asphalt (anthropogenic); insecticides, fungicides, mosquito coils, smoking, gasoline anti - knock agents (anthropogenic); and others.

Products where 28 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) may exist: plastic handles; plastic packaging boxes; rubber handles; plastic and rubber products with odors; plastic and rubber parts in electronic and electrical equipment.
